BAAB invites all Black people to share their experiences around hair!

We are looking for artists to explore ideas of Black hair as it relates to hair care & love, the role it plays within creativity, and how perceptions and experiences around Black hair has changed with time — past, present, and future.

Our goal is to create a space to facilitate better understanding of Black hair and our multifaceted experiences around it as Black People — in the past, present, and future. BAAB will curate this through an exhibition, IRL or online, later in the Summer, given restrictions.

We are accepting submissions in any art form.

All submissions must be by Black, African, and Afro-diasporic people based in Berlin, and must be original work.

Please be advised, we do not accept any forms of racism, colorism, sexism, discrimination against LGBTQIA+ or any other groups.
